College students are always on the go to further their education. From studying in the library to visiting teachers during their office hours, but everyone needs a break. On the University of North Florida campus, we come equipped with our very own game room in the east side of the student union.
I don’t mean just the computer games you play at home. I’m talking Xbox, Play Station, and Pool all in one room. There are multiple seats so you can always bring a friend. The game room has variety so there are plenty of choices for everybody. You don’t have to be good at the games to have a good time playing.
For those who are into computer games, you can grab a seat in the computer section of the game room. There are board games and card games. Everyone is welcome. Games can be real stress releasers, especially the interactive games in the game room such as the Xbox Kinect and the Nintendo Wii. Even if you’re not a gamer, you can enjoy watching your friends play.
You can compete against friends or people you don’t know if you want a challenge. Or, you can play alone. All the games come at no cost so you don’t have to worry about paying. You also don’t have to worry about time. The game room is open until 2 a.m on Fridays and Saturdays, midnight on Sundays, and noon Monday through Thursday.
There’s endless possibilities to enjoy yourself in the game room so don’t miss out. There’s plenty of room but get there fast because space does disappear quickly. All you need is your student ID and you can play any game you choose.
